Our challenge
We are seeking a strong AI & Python Technical Lead who is highly self‑driven, hands‑on, and an effective communicator. This role will lead the design and delivery of AI‑driven solutions, working closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineers.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110000-$125000/year & benefits (see below)..
The Role
Responsibilities:
Lead end‑to‑end design and implementation of AI/ML and Python‑based solutions
Drive architecture decisions for scalable, secure, and production‑ready AI systems
Translate business problems into executable AI use cases and technical solutions
Mentor and guide engineers; provide technical leadership and code reviews
Own solution delivery, from concept to deployment and post‑production support
Communicate effectively with business, product, risk, and compliance stakeholders
Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards (security, performance, audit, governance)
Requirements:
Strong hands‑on Python expertise
Proven leadership experience delivering AI / ML / NLP / LLM‑based solutions
Strong experience of AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.
Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
Leadership experience in managing AI/ML teams or projects.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
