Role Overview

We are looking for an AI Design Automation Engineer with strong expertise in semiconductor design flows and applied Artificial Intelligence to develop next-generation automation solutions for RTL design, Physical Design, Design Verification, DFT, and chip implementation. The role focuses on building AI-powered engineering tools that improve productivity, automate repetitive design tasks, optimize design quality, and accelerate semiconductor development cycles.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in semiconductor design methodologies along with practical exposure to Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, or AI-assisted engineering workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Develop AI-powered solutions to automate RTL design, Physical Design, Verification, and implementation workflows.
Design intelligent automation frameworks for chip development using Machine Learning and Generative AI technologies.
Build AI assistants to support RTL code generation, debugging, documentation, and design reviews.
Develop AI models for timing analysis, floorplanning optimization, routing recommendations, ECO automation, and design closure.
Integrate AI capabilities with leading EDA platforms including Cadence, Synopsys, and Siemens EDA.
Create intelligent design knowledge systems using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and vector databases.
Develop automation pipelines using Python, APIs, and cloud-based AI services.
Analyze semiconductor design datasets to improve design quality, PPA optimization, and engineering productivity.
Collaborate with RTL, Physical Design, Verification, DFT, CAD, and EDA engineering teams to identify automation opportunities.
Build scalable AI applications for engineering workflow optimization and design analytics.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions for semiconductor design automation.
Document AI models, workflows, and deployment methodologies while supporting production implementation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related discipline.
5 -12 years of experience in semiconductor design, CAD, EDA, or AI engineering.
Strong understanding of digital IC design and semiconductor development lifecycle.
Experience in AI/ML applications within engineering or semiconductor environments is preferred.
Excellent analytical, programming, and problem-solving skills.
