This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, rules-based automation, and healthcare-focused technology solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain complex applications using .NET and C#, with a strong emphasis on building and optimizing decisioning logic through the InRule Rules Engine. Accountabilities
Design, develop, test, debug, implement, and document moderately complex applications and system components using .NET and C#.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and system designs.
Develop and optimize rules-based automation solutions using the InRule Rules Engine to support decisioning and process automation needs.
Evaluate existing systems and applications, identifying opportunities for enhancement, modernization, and performance improvements.
Collaborate with project managers and development teams to assign tasks, track progress, and ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.
Provide technical consulting to clients and internal stakeholders, validating requirements and resolving complex application issues.
Develop and execute test plans while actively participating in QA processes, including code reviews and validation activities.
Lead small development sub-teams when needed, delegating responsibilities and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Requirements
9+ years of experience in application design and implementation using .NET, C#, and Oracle.
Strong hands-on experience with the InRule Rules Engine or similar business rules/decision automation platforms.
Proficiency in ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Web API, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
Strong understanding of full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and enterprise application development practices.
Proven ability to design scalable systems and translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional development teams with exposure to leadership responsibilities.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Self-driven with the ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel occasionally (0-10%) and work flexible schedules based on business needs.
