Role Overview
The Advanced Test Engineer is responsible for leading and executing test engineering activities to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of aerospace products. This role involves defining test strategies, conducting EMI testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate system performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate EMI testing activities for aerospace systems
Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports
Ensure compliance with standards such as DO-160 and MIL-STD-461
Provide technical guidance on test engineering challenges
Analyze test results and support issue resolution
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement in test processes and efficiency
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
6+ years of experience in test engineering (aerospace preferred)
Hands-on experience with EMI testing and relevant equipment
Strong knowledge of DO-160 and/or MIL-STD-461 standards
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, etc.)
Experience in aerospace testing environments
Knowledge of test estimation and planning processes
Leadership and mentoring experience
