About the Role
One of our clients in the aerospace and advanced engineering domain is seeking an Advanced Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of complex electrical systems with a strong focus on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC).
In this role, you will work within a cross-functional environment, applying your technical expertise to develop robust, mission-critical systems that meet stringent performance and regulatory requirements. You will also play a key role in driving innovation, mentoring team members, and improving engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of advanced electrical systems and components with a focus on EMC
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across:
Electrical design
Mechanical packaging
PCB layout
Grounding and interconnect strategies
Signal integrity
Perform EMC analysis to support design optimization and resolve technical challenges
Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate technical requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance EMC design processes and efficiency
Support EMC qualification testing and lead root-cause investigations
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the team
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
Minimum 5+ years of experience in electronics design
Strong proficiency in:
EMC analysis and design techniques
Filtering and board-level design
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Understanding of:
Power supply, analog, digital, RF, and data bus circuits
Familiarity with industry standards such as:
RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, Boeing D6, Airbus ABD
Experience with EMC simulation and modeling tools (e.g., LTSpice, Mathcad, EMA3D)
Proficiency in tools such as:
Siemens Xpedition (DxDesigner, HyperLynx, Constraint Manager)
Mathcad, Excel, Timing Designer
Experience in project planning, estimation, and cost/schedule management
Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities
Additional Information
Relocation support may be available for the right candidate
