The AD Application Migration Engineer is responsible for the execution, and validation of on‑premise application migrations, with a strong emphasis on Active Directory domain migrations and SQL‑based applications. This role ensures that business‑critical applications are migrated between domains or environments in a controlled, secure, and repeatable manner, minimizing risk and downtime.

Must Have:
5+ years of experience in application engineering, migration engineering, or infrastructure roles.
Proven experience in application migration projects within enterprise on‑premise environments (on prem to on prem AD migrations).
Strong hands‑on experience with Active Directory domain migrations from an application perspective.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (application‑level administration, migration, access control).
Strong understanding of Windows Server‑based application hosting.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with global teams
Demonstrated experience migrating business‑critical, identity‑dependent applications.
Experience working under formal change, release, and incident management frameworks.


Nice To Have/Pluses
Experience with large‑scale or multi‑wave migration programs.
Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell) for migration preparation or validation.
ITIL / ITSM process knowledge.
Experience supporting post‑migration stabilization phases.

Compensation
This is a 6 month contract to hire. Perm salary between 95-105K+ bonus.
$50/hr to $55/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
