Execute product testing in accordance with Cisco Compliance policies and procedures

Improve software accessible design best practices;

Collaborate with Cisco Engineering product development teams;

Document results and formulate test reports.

Gain knowledge and understanding of the Accessibility Standards for desktop, mobile, and web applications

Execute product testing in accordance with Cisco Compliance policies and procedures

Improve software accessible design best practices;

Collaborate with Cisco Engineering product development teams;

Document results and formulate test reports.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field;

Minimum 3 years experience in accessibility testing and have performed accessibility test on multiple products.

Knowledge of W3C WCAG v2.1 and v2.2, and Section 508 standards is a MUST.

Knowledge of EN 301 549 standard is a PLUS.

Strong UI/UX accessibility background.

Strong accessibility testing background on multiple platforms Windows Desktop, Mac Desktop, Web Browsers, Android, and iOS mobile platforms.

Proficient in using JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, and NVDA screen reader software

Proficient in using other accessibility testing tools (Color Contrast, Code inspections, etc.)

Proficient in writing accessibility report to communicate with developers.

Exhibit strong interpersonal and written communications skills;

Must be able to take direction

Be highly proficient in PC based tools and software;

Demonstrate good project management abilities and have an aptitude for problem solving.

Software testing and development experience

Experience in the field of software user interface usability

Knowledge of and experience with the quality assurance process

Must have knowledge of accessibility design standards is a plus, such as: W3C WCAG 2.0, WCAG 2.1; WCAG 2.2; WAI-ARIA, Mobile Accessibility (iOS, Android...), Desktop Software (Windows/Mac)

Knowledge of Section 508; SOATest, Zoomtext, JAWS and MVDA strongly preferred.
